I'm John "Bones" Rodriguez and I'm basically lazy.

Maybe not lazy, but I like to be efficient. 
That means that if I'm going to do anything, I want to do as little as possible, and get the best results with that. I've been "Half-Assed" about everything else in my life, and it's worked out so far. 

 And like you, I have no time for bullshit.

I've read those 300-page books that have all sorts of charts, schedules, and diagrams that tell us how to weigh your portions, run 'til you pass out, and and exactly what time to eat cottage cheese, but they're so confusing and impossible to follow, I never did any of them for more than a week! 

You've probably done the same. 

 Instead, I wrote my own health book for people like us-
people who do things HALF-ASSED, and still make it work. 

I got some of my half-assed friends to do the stuff with me, and they got good results too. 

 What I mean by "good results" is that they felt better, and more importantly, they looked better, and were noticed by the opposite sex. (That was all we were looking for anyway.)
